Due to the digital nature of our products and services, ALL SALES ARE GENERALLY FINAL. We offer limited refunds only under specific circumstances outlined below. By making a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy.

1General Refund Policy

BacktestPro LLC provides digital products and services related to forex trading, including trading software (indicators, Expert Advisors), signal services, copy trading, and research community access. Due to the digital and instantaneous delivery nature of these products, all sales are final except in the limited circumstances described in this policy.

We stand behind the quality of our products and services. If you have any issues, please contact us first at support@backtestpro.trading and we will do our best to resolve your concerns.

2Product-Specific Refund Policies

Trading Products (Indicators & Expert Advisors)

No Refunds - Once a digital product is delivered or download link is provided, no refunds will be issued.

Source Code Products - Products sold with source code access are non-refundable under any circumstances due to the intellectual property exposure.

Exception - If the product file is corrupt and cannot be repaired, or if the product fails to function as documented and we cannot provide a fix within 14 days, you may request a refund within 30 days of purchase.

Signal Services

No Refunds for Active Subscriptions - Once you have received any signals during a billing period, that period is non-refundable.

No Performance Guarantees - Refunds will NOT be issued based on trading losses or signal performance. Trading involves risk and past performance does not guarantee future results.

Exception - If no signals are delivered during your entire subscription period due to our technical failure, you may request a full refund.

Cancellation - You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Copy Trading Services

Strictly No Refunds - Copy trading services involve real trading and real risks. NO REFUNDS will be issued under any circumstances once the service is activated.

Trading Losses - We are not responsible for any trading losses. You acknowledge that trading is risky and you may lose some or all of your capital.

Service Termination - You may request to stop the copy trading service at any time. No pro-rated refunds will be provided.

Strategy Optimization Services

  • Before Work Begins: Full deposit refund if the optimization request is canceled before BacktestPro confirms that work has commenced.
  • After Work Begins: The 60% deposit is non-refundable once optimization work has commenced, as confirmed by BacktestPro.
  • Final Payment: The remaining 40% balance is charged only upon delivery of completed deliverables (optimization report, backtesting data, and implementation guide).
  • No Performance Refunds: Refunds are NOT issued based on trading results achieved using optimized parameters. Optimization is based on historical data and does not guarantee future performance.
  • Delivery Failure: If BacktestPro fails to deliver the agreed-upon deliverables within the estimated timeline plus a 14-calendar-day grace period, the Client may request a full deposit refund.
  • Mid-Project Cancellation: If the Client cancels after work has begun, partial deliverables reflecting completed work may be provided at BacktestPro's sole discretion.

4Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will NOT be issued in the following situations:

  • Trading Losses: Any losses incurred while using our products, signals, or copy trading services
  • Dissatisfaction with Performance: Products not meeting your profit expectations (past performance never guarantees future results)
  • Change of Mind: Deciding you no longer want the product or service after purchase
  • Incompatibility: Product incompatibility with your broker, platform version, or system (check requirements before purchasing)
  • User Error: Incorrect use, configuration, or installation of products
  • Third-Party Issues: Issues caused by your broker, internet connection, VPS provider, or other third parties
  • Account Violations: Accounts terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service
  • Expired Refund Period: Requests made after the applicable refund window has closed
  • Promotional Items: Products purchased at promotional/discounted prices may have different or no refund eligibility
  • Dissatisfaction with optimization results, parameter recommendations, or strategy performance insights
  • Client's inability or unwillingness to implement optimization recommendations
  • Trading losses incurred from implementing or acting upon optimized parameters
  • Cancellation of a strategy optimization project after work has commenced (deposit portion)

5How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are eligible for a refund, follow these steps:

Contact Support First

Email us at support@backtestpro.trading describing your issue. We may be able to resolve it without a refund.

Submit Refund Request

If the issue cannot be resolved, submit a formal refund request to support@backtestpro.trading with:

  • Your order number/transaction ID
  • Email address used for purchase
  • Product/service name
  • Detailed reason for refund request
  • Supporting documentation (screenshots, error logs, etc.)

Review Process

We will review your request within 5-7 business days. We may request additional information or ask you to try troubleshooting steps.

Refund Decision

You will be notified of our decision via email. Our decision is final. If approved, refunds are processed within 7-14 business days.

6Refund Methods and Timeframes

Original Payment Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Processing Times:

  • Cryptocurrency (NowPayments): Refunds are issued in stablecoin (USDT/USDC) at the USD value of the original transaction, typically within 3-7 business days after approval
  • Other Payment Methods: As additional payment methods become available, refund processing times will be updated accordingly

Note: Bank processing times vary and are outside our control. Transaction fees and currency conversion costs may be deducted from your refund.

7Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel any subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting support.

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will retain access until the end of the paid period
  • No pro-rated refunds for unused time in the current billing period
  • Auto-renewal will be disabled, and no future charges will occur
  • Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of past payments

Cancellation Reminder

To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date.

8Chargebacks and Disputes

WARNING: Chargeback Policy

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first attempting to resolve the issue with us is considered a violation of our Terms of Service.

If you file a chargeback or payment dispute:

  • Your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation
  • All access to products and services will be revoked
  • We will contest the dispute with evidence of delivery and acceptance
  • If the chargeback is fraudulent, your account will be permanently banned
  • We reserve the right to pursue collection of the disputed amount plus fees
  • Fraudulent chargebacks may be reported to appropriate authorities

9Abuse Prevention

To prevent abuse of our refund policy, we track refund requests and reserve the right to:

  • Deny refund requests from users with a history of excessive refund requests
  • Limit future purchases from users who abuse the refund system
  • Ban accounts engaged in refund fraud or abuse
  • Report fraudulent activity to appropriate authorities

10Policy Modifications

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. The version of the Refund Policy in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to that purchase.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of our Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
